Hi people i have a Forged AFH engine For sale.

I have spent a fortune on the engine:

Wossner Pistons (£621)(8.5:1 cr)

Forged I-Beam Rods (£512)( Manufacturer has rated these at 600bhp at 10500rpm)

Re-built the head about 1000 miles ago. (with all vw genuine parts, my mate works at VW)

The engine it self has only done 67868 miles to be exact.lol

The rods and pistons hav only done about 1500 miles.

The engine itself is ready for

When i had it running with my megasquirt ecu v3

it was running 203.7bhp.

Please note i won't be selling any of the loom and ecu because i'm building a 1.6 afh turbo .

The pictures below show the forged rod and piston, the other rod and piston are the orginal.

I want 450 gbp for the engine its cost me alot of time and money to build, and i don't want my pants pulled down.

i'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement on price.

As to the old post I DID NOT SAY I was VW technician, i said my best friend is one. I am an Electrical Engineer.

And grungeisdead i spoke to you very briefly regarding the engine when i was at work, so how can you believe me or not???

The only reason i haven't posted anything else back online is because I've been busy building my other engine 1.6 AFH turbo!

I know i posted this before but i didnt have enough pics and so forth to prove they are actually forged.

I dont have receipts I've lost them along with my passport , i only have receipts for the new parts I've purchased for the new build.

The engine comes with standard cams i'm afraid

They were ordered from a company in greece drakos engineering

it made 203bhp with standard cams =O damn!!!!! do forged internals really make that much difference or were you running something else other than just the megasquirt ecu ??? thats a 100% power increase with forged and remapped ecu

i had uprated injectors and reprofiled cams which i will be using on my other engine, i was also using a garrett gt-25.

i went through two gearboxes lol in the space of 3 months
