the standard 15" bbs rx2 on 6n2 gti, mine have 195/45.15 size tyres ont hem, but has anyone else got a different size or profile tyre on there 15" bbs's?

i was wondering if i could increase the profile to 50 or more to fill in the gap when i lower the car 40mm .

You could increase th profile to 50 but why not just lower the car on coilovers down to.the tyre??? Tbh 45 profile on a 6j wheel is still pretty big imo

if you go up to a 195/50 profile your tyres will scrub, especially when lowered. thats the whole reason vw used 195/45s in the first place

sorted, thats fine, ill stick to 195/45/15 and i would buy coillies but i already purchased a set of shocks and springs
