okay, just thought i'd do a little progress thing up until now, it's getting closer to finished!

ill try and keep it brief!

stripped all the rear interior (ignore the subs, was just figuring out how to fit them)

got him painted for 300 quid (did all the prep work myself)

painted up all the bumpers etc and put them back on

installed a tiny steering wheel (very impractical) and some beefy bucket seats from my dad's beetle. also sprayed interior black, still need to finish door cards and put them in!

got some black weller steels. (lol, polo fields)

crashed in the snow! (since replaced bumper, and i have a replacement panel which i'm going to sticker bomb)

lowered him, but not enough on the front (still need to get some lower front springs)

got some new wheels, and this is him so far!

my plans are:

sticker bomb new wing and put it on

smoke tail lights and indicators.

maybe smoke headlamps (what do you think?)

get a debadged grill

lower front more

get a roof rack!

finish door cards & get my speakers and head unit in

urrrm... can't think of anything else!

tell me what you think =] good and bad opinions welcome =P

well, tbh, paint job isn't good enough for it to look clean anyway =P

got it done for cheap about a year ago and there are already a few chips and some rust bubbles from where i'm not brilliant at prep work =P

and the sides are all uneven from dickheads opening their doors on him!

it's just about good enough to look neat in pictures i reckon, but there are a lot of little things that are like... uh.. okay. like, for instance the different heights of seats =P

Slam it and orange the bonnet, keep it clean. Don't rat it as it'll waste all your effort of tidying it and spraying it.

Leave the stickers too, but, if you can't resist..... Make sure you cut every single sticker out to remove the White borders. 99% of people seem to jus get a child to stick 'em all down and it ends up looking even more shite....

like, i'm not going out of my way to make it rusty and stuff. clean it like every few days too =P
