On my part I am pleased to help keep a few Mk2's running - as I really enjoyed owning/driving mine (until an old lady whacked it in a car park and it was beyond economic repair).

how much would a set of brake pads and the rear light posted be please?

Do the brake pads come with the anti-rattle plates? And is the reverse light 'segment' the type with the white square in the red lens or the later type with the whole white section? If that makes sense.

I may be interested in the air filter and a rotor arm too, i'll check my car.

N.O.S. Air Filter Element - Genuine VW part No 056 129 620 - made for VW by Hengst (Germany) as their part No E89L. It is in a Hengst Box, and then that is in a QUANTUM box. This is the circular "ring" type of filter and should fit Polo's from 1975 to 1994 and many other VWs of that era - but if you want to check, here are some dimensions - OD 285mm - ID 225mm - H 60mm. Asking £5 .

N.O.S. Brake Pad sets - these are not genuine, but they are from a reputable European supplier (Roulands), who also supplies VW - and I used some on my Polo and it used to stop very well. They fit Polos - 1.05L 1/85>12/90 - 1.1L 1/85>2/88 - 1.3L 2/85>9/94 - and also Golf and Ibiza from around the same time (PM for full details). I have just 1 set left - asking £5 for the set. USED Left Door Mirror assembly - full housing/mounting with good sturdy pivot, and adjusted remotely (cables - not electric) - but mirror/glass is cracked. Asking £4 .
