LOOOOOOOL OMG :D

it did the trick for me... lol

good luck for the VW interview mate

I have been to so many interviews for apprenticships man and i sware you go in there, you give it your best, you come out feeling like you hit the nail right on the head, then it turns out your not good enough it sucks keep trying like i have for the last 3 years. I even got one at london underground but got cut before it started cos of the recession and funding.

Get feedback from the Audi dealer who carried out the interview, and try and improve on it for the VW interview.

I've applied for an apprenticeship at Exxonmobil for the last 4 years and not succeeded yet, 700 people apply each year and I've got into the last 70 every time but obviously wasn't one of the best 12.

I think it mainly depends on what the company is looking for, I'm now just about to go into my second year of a Boat Building apprenticeship, I did the same things in the interview as I did at Exxon and obviously I was more what the company wanted so got the job.

Also, don't be downheartened when you get your first pay packet if you do get an apprenticeship, it'll be worth going through 3 years of shit pay in the long run.

I'm 20 going on 21 and still trying mate, been on two trails and they didn't even have the decency to ring me back after i did two days free labour. Makes you feel like your useless!

I know this sounds stupid, but being 16, and wanting to work in a dealership...do you not need to be able to drive the vehicles to road test/identify issues? Then again I guess you wouldnt be trained until the end of your time to do so, which then you'd be old enough?

I'm with Jag/Landrover, was around 1500 applicants when I applied and they took on about 50, however there were over 3000 applications this year!

Mine consisted of an absolute essay of an application form, a maths test, an assessment day consisting of different tests, team building exercises and a constructed interview which was pretty relaxed,

I think its important to be yourself, I was just honest and chatty rather than trying to dress it up with bullshit lol.
