Decided now that I'm happy with the way it looks and can bring myself to upload pictures into the gallery :)

Finally got it lowered today, went for 60mm springs, wont be going lower as its the perfect height for the roads round where I live, and i love the way it sits!

Hope you all like it, wheels are next on the list!

opinions welcome..

doubt it. i am in the proscess of wiring mine the same. what did you use to join wires from indicators to the sidelight bulbs so they on at same time??/

Well if a copper says out il just tell him to look at a mk1 scooby or a few bmws cz they have them, iv done it different, iv taken the sidelights out of the main headlamp unit, sealed the hole up, extended the wires, drilled a whole into the indicators and put them in there, meaning i have indys and sidelights inside the indicator lense, all sealed up n weather proofed and the indicators are still just as visible

looking good bud :)

have you done it so the sidelights work in the main headlights too?

Glad you've kept this bud, such a nice car and got so much potential!

thanks mate, no I've done it so the sidelights are relocated in the indicators, basically in the main unit i just have a main beam bulb now, but when i turn sidelights and main beam on they are both on, i dont think theyres anything illegal about it is there? will it pass its MOT do you think?

I dunno bud!

Maybe alright? depends where you go I guess..

If i were you, I would have got another set of sidelights and drilled into the indicators and then wired them into the original sidelights, therefore the whole lot look like they are on and almost like they are wrapped around :)

Still, looks cool! good work bud!

yea I'm probably still going to do that tbh, its all reversible and theres still the option to have two sets of sidelights so i might give it a go, but yea thanks bud I'm pleased with it :)

haha cool, yeah man that should be good!

Also noticed how many times i said bud in the last two posts lol.

todays job: headlining :)

the most fiddely and annoying task I've ever come across!

whats needed - duvet, glue/carpet tape, a girlfriend with an iron, the patience of a saint and the ability to rip trim off your car without shitting yourself :)

results after 4hours work:

I really like the head lining

i Have done the same thing with my indicators but i have left the sidelight in the headlight and got another 2 bulb holders and drilled a hole in each indicator and wired them to my side lights, got stopped other night off a copper (not even traffic) and he said they were illegal but later that night spoke to a traffic copper and he said there not illegal i can have them on if i want them on think the first copper was just being an arse lol.

Any updates on this buddy?
