Six digit number plates?

Featured Replies

Basically my number plate is V91 DJR, and I keep getting told that six digit number plates don't come standard and you have to by them? Or that are irish? Can anyone shed any light?

21 or below is reserved as a "Cherished Registration". Personally, I'd stick it into regtransfers or newreg.com and see if it's worth owt.

Mines standard i think and its 6 digits L47 YWP.

I've had quite a few, though i only realised B65UBA was chosen when new after id sold the white Cavalier in the mid 90s.

I didn't like my Polo's original plate,as PNP looked like something else,so i looked for a six digit replacement for retro appeal - settled on the five digit one it now displays (closely spells the word BRUVA, in complete contrast to the old one..).

had v74 fba on my old corsa sport, as far as I'm aware it had the plate on since new

Has anyone ever sold a reg through regtransfers? After reading this I thought I'd put mine in and they said after its sold they would pay me £400....not bad seeing as I was going to scrap the car!!

Was just wandering if it is just simply a waiting game until someone wants to buy it??

Cheers

My dads bike numberplate reads 'SL02 BEU' (Slow To Be You) and that came from the dealer when it was new .

One of my valver had a six digit plate R28XCK nothing special but it was standard.

The best standard plate I've had though was T211JHN, could almost be read as 'tell john'

Best I've seen was M1nge on a black range rover sport.
