Looks good, I'm not so keen on the headlights though.

thanks

i know what you mean I've come to love them but at first it was just an alternative not not forking out for GTI headlights and getting rid of my awful standards, i may eventually get gti headlights and spray the insert black,

yep, imo its deffo a polo.

I like it but those plates with the logo stuck on like that may cause you a little trouble!

Also not a fan of the angel eyes.

Angel eyes on modern headlights don't look right unless it's a BMW, old cars with angel eyes I'm all for though.

ha I've never had any problem with the stickers on the plates i got the same on the rear too, police here are quite lenient towards modders,

like i say i have plans to get gti lights and spray the inserts black but i also have a mortgage so for now its the angel eyes, i dont have the rings on though there only on for that pic cause i had just passed its mot and obv needed sidelights normally i take the fuses for them out so its just the HID kit on

nice car mate not alot of people like these type of head lights but i love em want some for my 6n2 alson thinking of tinting my back lights but not to sure yours are nice because you got a red car mines blue and dont look to good with red rear lights what you think.

nice work sweeeet car matey

:-D

I dont like it

I'm sorry, I was in a bad mood haha looks tidy mate, you're off on the right track and obviously have all your ideas set out :)

Please put the numberplate back where it belongs :p

Seriously though, a very nice car indeed. Looks very clean and I really like the wheels and lego valve caps :D

Love it!

And the headlights, where you get them from? Also what is it lowered on? Want to get mine done but have no idea what I'm looking for.

Keep up good work.

Looks really nice mate but the plate being there always reminds me of a hamster...

yep, imo its deffo a polo.

cheers mate I've grown to love the headlights but do want to eventually upgrade and spray the inserts black, the rear lights i think look ok on most of the colours except the mettalic green, theres a guy on the other forum I'm on got the same colour as you and matched his wheels with the rear lights looks smart as

steve polo

ha ha no worries i know its not to everyones taste i must admit it looks a lot better in the flesh and its only in the last month i know where I'm taking it so may eventually get rid of the black we shall see how money goes and if i decide on keeping her,

cheers dude i have VW centre caps on thier way as well as about 6 other little bits and pieces i should be doing to her this weekend. the plates where it is cause i used to have a smooth front (the rear is still smoothed) just due to certain circumstances i temporarily had to get another bumper ha ha but in a few months it will be smooth again... the plate placing isnt good for the fan though :-/ it is very clean a lot more so than most of the 6n2's where i live thanks for noticing

the headlights i got from a user on here they are depo angel rings (but I've taken the halo ring fuses out... i hate halo rings lol) so i only use the projector hid's although i did change the bulbs in the rings so that when they are on they are bright white to match, its lowered on coilovers for the 6n2 they range from £199 to about £500 or if you really wanna splurge air ride is a grand, you ever get any questions mate pm me and il answer as quick as i can modding can be hard if your just starting out and its very easy to 'chav' a car up you need to know the look your going for have a general idea of the direction you want to take to get there and then it kinda falls into place... i wait till i get bargains mate... (just started a mortgage so have no choice) like my lights were £90 coileys £199 rims i got for a steal price of £150 plus my old standard SE alloys, but like i said pm if you have any questions mate,

andymk4

ha ha i can hear john wayne now... lol

thanks,

all you do is use a pliar to take the middle out put the plastic valve caps in then fill the middle with super glue let set for a day :D

thanks for the reply

really in need of coilovers for mine but pretty skint for a few month, i will definitively message you nearer to the time

also, where the lego caps from? i was going to get dice but not sure yet

cheers for the advice :-D

personally think it looks ugly, mainly with regards to the headlights!!

  • Author

entitled to your opinion mate, the headlights are miles better than the standard SE ones,

cookstarr
