I bought this in October last year with a blown headgasket. The previous owner didnt have the know how to replace it himself so advertised it for sale.

Ok so its one of the last Mk3 Golf GTI's. Its a 2.0 8v, 5 speed manual in Dragon Green. It has:

Air Conditioning (that works )

Electric Windows

Electric Mirrors

Immobiliser

Sony AM/FM Radio

Powered Steering

ABS Brakes

I have just replaced the headgasket, cambelt, tensioner, drive belt, air con belt, rocker cover gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, inlet manifold gasket, downpipe gasket, spark plugs, oil filter, oil and coolant.

The previous owner had the radiator replaced by a garage at a total cost of £225 . He also had 2 new tyres fitted in May last year.

The car comes with the original service pack with all manuals. It has FSH until 2008 (120,00 miles) and then there are a few receipts for the next few services.

The car passed it's MOT today with just an advisory for low tread on one front tyre. I will replace the tyre before the car sells.

The bodywork is in good condition for the age of the car. The drivers side has a few scratches down the side which look like car park scratches. It also has a small dent and scratch on the drivers side front wing and a scuff on the drivers side front bumper corner. The rear bumper has a chunk that has split. It looks like the car has reversed into a towbar. Having looked round the whole car I cant see any rust at all!

The interior of the car is immaculate! There is not a single mark anywhere! The seats are not worn, they are like new!
