fully in love with this car already looks so good on the road and drives really well.

couple of problems I've found is the pas side seatbelt is broke so will be getting a new 1 tommorow or later on in the week from the scrappies. and its timing abit of revving a little high in neutral and taking a while to cut off so need to have a play with the dizzy cap over the weekend. oh and one of the plate lights is gone. other than that i cant fault the car its structually sound and awesome fun to drive :D

c&c welcome

Looks nice, gimmie those wheels!

They should be the same wheels as yours just painted silver. The wheel trims are early CL ones. quite nice actually and pretty rare now!

Looks really clean mate, shame about the saxo in some of the pics!

cant wait to get the rack on it gunna be sweet. and its not cut out on me yet is that what the formel e means i dont really know that much about it.

il get an all dub shoot done next time dont worry

that car looks near perfect as it is. wouldnt do anything else to it, maybe band the steels to make them an inch wider and all-red the rear lights, that would be it. really unique wheels, doubt you will see another vw with those trims.

less is more! you dont need to try when you've got a car as cool as an early mk2 saloon

love it! i love the colour too :ninja:

can't beat mars red

the formel E had a few features, an MPG gauge, a very high fourth gear (supposed to be more like fifth), apparantly a gear shift light, but i'm yet to see if mine has this.

I read about formel E's having the idle cut out, but maybe that was on mk1 golfs.

Nothing needs doing to it imo, however if you do change it, please don't ruin it!

yeah I've got the mpg gauge and the bulb in the middle of it has flashed once i think. and I've read about the fuel cut out aswell on wiki it says it started on the formel e but I'm yet to experience it.

pics coming up in 2

and i wont ruin it promise

i cant stop smiling :D:D:D:D:D:D

The roof rack has ruined it for me, imo a change in wheels and a duck bill spoiler on the front and your pimp.

Mine came with a roof rack when I bought it and it had ruined the roof with scratches and knackered the (practically irreplaceable) chrome roof trim. Please be careful with it! :)

where can i find one of them splitter/spoilers?

and personally i really like the roof rack but i knew i would get mixed reactions:)

where did it scratch the roof? and dont worry I've been very careful making sure its fitted correctly in the gutters :)

and as for wheel

i got these picked up for me today they are 14" golf mk3 steels and they are the same as g60's just an inch smaller. I'm thinking of gettin them banded another 1" or maybe 2" on the rears but I'm not paying bandedsteels.com £345 to do it :p I've nee quoted £240 from a guy off ebay who is based in liverpool but I'm hoping to find a company a bit more local.

anyway the wheels

need to get them balloon tyres off so i can trial fit them

and just a pic for good measure taken earlier today
