This is mine on GTA wheels, it needs a lot of work to get it sitting right, but thought I'd show you it so you get a bit of an idea on how they fit :)

None as of yet, my plan is to get 25mm spacers :)

Haha, ye 6n's do mate, I had mine a month if that and wrote it off, probably the best thing that happened too it lol. The golf is a nice upgrade I have to say, it need much doing or straight into the modding? :-)

Nahh only a few little bits then put it through an MOT, runs sweet though.

Went out this morning and was greeted by this...

Rear lights fucked, bumper is bent and doesn't join at the end, loads of paint off the bumper, boot doesn't line up anymore

At first I thought someone had hit it with something but the car moved forward like 2 feet so someone must have driven into it, without leaving a note.

Probably. idiot.

I'm fairly sure it was the binmen, they always squeeze just past my car, and it must have been something big cause the whole car had moved like 2 feet foward.

My dad said it was fine when he went to work at 7, and the binmen came at about half 9 and I noticed it at 10.

So, think it's the end of the polo now...

Although, new car :)

Get Y0 cleaning flex on and swop all that coilover/wheel setup :p Infact do the mk4 polo fronts fit a golf, in theory the backs should.... mk1.2.3 golf rears fit a mk3 polo as do mk4 rears so in theory polo stuff should fit a golf. try! lol

haha I'll give it a good clean tomorrow :) And the wheels will go on, and the coilovers fit, but they go stupidly low, so you pretty much have to run them right at the top

And it still needs tax/mot but I've got a holiday to save money for so progress will be slow until July.

Ahh win! Soooo hmm, I'm running mk2 golf front coilovers, wonder if i fit 6n items it'll go ALOT lower :-/ hmmmm

Jom coilovers, the mk2 golf ones threads go all the way to the mount where the 6ns stop about 2cm above the mount, therefor mk2 ones go lower and the back 6ns ones are far too short, already tried ahah

Got bored and put the alpines on the mk2 today to see how they'll sit;

Then I thought I'd record me bouncing on the car to gain some lowness

Think the driveshaft/cv joint is going on the polo, getting serious knocking noises when revving and going round corners.

think the polo's dying...

Tomorrow I'm just gunna raise it and stick the steels from the golf on it :(

Yeah, pretty scary.. ahaha

And more spacer trouble, two bolts from one of my wheels snapped in one the spacer yesterday, no idea why but they were stupidly tight and when I cranked down they just snapped. Suppose it could have been worse and they could have snapped in my hub :/

Got fed up and raised the car and put the steels from the golf on, no more low polo :(

Also removed all of the arch trims and side strips from one side, think it looks so much better.

And bought some arch spats for a tenner which I was pretty happy with :)

And one more of the rear fitment, cant wait to lower it!
