haha nice man! I'll try and get a proper photo of mine tomorrow, its just self notching at the moment, even after i raised it up..

I did put the coilovers all the way down after i cut the bump stops down and it was reaaally low although it was on the driveshaft, which is how i want it, just cant wait to get the notch so i can get it that low all the time :)

Yeah ideally I'd get a chassis notch and cut bumpstops on mine but I have to go down really bumpy country rounds to get to work so thats a no no :( I could go so much lowerrr! haha

id say yeah go for valver bumpers.. they do make a big difference to the car...

Right then, haven't updated in a while cause i've been sorting a few issues with the car..

But yesterday i picked up a valver rear bumper from a mate, and fitted some washers to give me a bit of camber on the back.

(ignore the arch gap... driveshaft height :()

(I do have centre caps i just need to spray them...)

It's still sat quite high on the front at the moment, as i still need to get my chassis notched, but that should happen soon.

As well as getting my chassis notch I've asked the guy about smoothing the number plate recess on my 8v bumper, and i'm gunna fit a 6n2 gti splitter to it.

Thoughts?

haha thats one of the problems I'm sorting, one wheel bolt snapped and the other thread has gone, so i've ordered a new hub and should be here tomorrow :)

I was just looking at this thinking to myself, "omg the rear fitment on this looks just the same as mine now!" hahah!

FACEPALM! in that case. i retract my comment and apologise.

Hes ordered the wrong hub? I'd address that before the notch :p or weld the wheel on saw someone do that on a old stock car... snapped all the studs/ stripped the threads i didnt see it up close just saw them welding the wheel on, had to take drum off to swop tyres lol...

Ahah I was only saying it because he gets abit touchy!

Apparently he has a late 6n which means the hub and drum are two different parts... which we found out after trying to fit two hubs

the drum on all mk4's as far as i was aware housed the bearings? Guess not.

Nah it seems that every mk4 except the 1999 ones are, but mine has just the drum outser shell, and then the hub behind it seperate :/
