Well getting recovered was interesting. One truck came and the guy loved my car, he took a few pictures and we were talking about cars for an hour while the other truck came. A low loader truck and 4 prices of wood later the car was recovered and taken back to my gf's house. The mechanic and me both agreed it was the oil pressure. He seems to think there is oil in the tappets which is forcing them up to hit the valves (explains the tapping noise that has developed) so the car will be taken apart this week at my girlfriends while I sort out the problem :) also had an audience of 20 people watching my car get on the trailer with old people shaking their heads and young people coming up to me and commenting how nice the car is :)

ANYONE IN THE LONDON/HERTFORDSHIRE want to give me a hand this week? Will be rewarded with a

pint and tips on how to get lower

Touch ups will be done it time :)

Going to check the engine out tomorrow with my limited amount of tools I keep in my car haha.

And I heard the 1.6 had a bit more torque that the 1.4 aswell. I don't know what I'd go for tbh
