Cleaned up the bay a little also...

Sprayed the boot badges black..

We took my mates 2 stroke go kart out last week and did'nt have a trailor so guess where it went

them things are so quick and soooo much fun

Sprayed up my rocker cover in matte black with chrome cap and bolts

also did the coil and braket

looks pritty sweet :)

Finelly picked up my 1st set of decent wheels

I've missed out on a few sets of these wheels due to lack of funds but this time i was NOT missing out and snapped them up from someone local for £50 which i thought was a bargin

going to refurb them, silver rim black spokes then get some tyres

thinking either 195/45/14 or... 185/55/14

Just one thing, keep it 8v :-D

Also, please dont spray the speedlines two different colours, takes the look away from them IMO.

Get them in a nice silver colour, or two colours that dont contrast too much. Will keep them looking nice and classy!

yeah 80 allround would be nice.

i need new suspension as mine's on chopped springs i think

I'm in two minds on the philj 80/60 or the 90/80

think the 90/80 might be abit low

i want them speedlines :)

Putting an AFH in it

And painting the spokes a different colour to the rim, keep them all one colour :-D , gunmetal or anthracite will look the dogs danglie dick!

well 1st things to get it through m.o.t

then want to tidy it up really well new door bit of bodywork

get the speedlines wrapped

I've got G40 calipers to go on

so defo got alot to get on with for now lol

UPDATE:

Sprayed back bumper...

Cleaned up the G40 brakes ready for painting

Brakes will be going red as will the drums aswell

So... m.o.ts pritty soon so started on removing the ROT! and prep it for welding up

Battery tray...

Did'nt really look much ,then i grinded the braket out...

Was abit more rot then i thought,so carried on with the grinder to chop the section out...

Prep..

then made a plate up...

Most of it has been welded in but we ran out of argon/co2 gas :(

I've got another bottle in the post on the way to finish it

my mate (loon27) welded it as he has way more experiance in welding so i let him crack on

It was awkward for him to weld it so he decided to do most of it without a mask silly lad

it get a phone call the following morning from him asking me to roll him up a few roll ups as he said he was blind,personally i thought he was having a laugh but this was no joke

he's now suffering with arc eye docters said he should regain his sight within a few days tbh it sounds pritty savage BUT it's a lesson learnt for him & me

Anyway the tray should get finished soon

Also another hole fer welding underneath :( bloody mk2s

And the place I've seen rot on most mk2s "must be a common place"
