My black 6n, 1.4 8v openair, LOOK INSIDE...

Featured Replies

Make: Polo

Model: 6n 1.4 8v openair

Year/Reg: 1998 R420 UBT

Mileage: about 85000 but I use it every day so will go up

MOT: 24th December

Tax: September

Good points:

- runs perfect

- gearbox from 35k car fitted 2 months ago

- new clutch last year

- new drivers side drive shaft last year

- no rust underneath, MOT guy said "it is solid underneath"

- starts first time every time

- push button start (can be removed easily enough)

- pioneer headunit

- angel headlights

- cream leather interior

- 13x7 genuine starmags

- 16v bumpers

- roof rack

Bad points:

- odd spot of rust/parking dents, normal for a 14 year old car!

- 1 medium size dent near rear passenger side arch, easy to repair though, i just haven't bothered as i never notice it

- roof has to be forced open and shut

- exhaust rattles

- no interior light surround

the exhaust rattle WILL be fixed before sale, as for the roof, i will spend the next warm day on it trying to get it to work properly :)

I've been as honest as possible with the bad points, but I use the car daily and it never misses a beat

Location: NR34, 20 minutes outside Norwich, but will travel to deliver car for petrol money

lots more images on build thread: http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=228710

Price:

£1600 as it stands

£1100 without the cream leather interior

£850 on steelies

I am in no hurry to sell so am pretty firm on the price! I love the car to pieces and love driving it every day, only reason for selling is I have had quite a few good years with it now and just fancy a change, I WILL NOT sell the car to you unless I think you will take care of it!

split starmags? :D

depends on if someone wants them with the car or not

BUT

i'd happily swap them for some 14x7s ;)

my mates the origional owner of this car, he did all the front bumper smoothing and paint himself with the 16v back bumper, quality car and many memories with it. best of luck with the sale fella.

what is the best price u would take without the interior and without the wheels?

£850 as it says in the original post, its a completely fair price considering the work done on it

plus its just had front discs and pads replaced :)

ps, only realised last night that it has 89k and not 85k, read it wrong the first time :p
