Insurance -.-

Featured Replies

Hey I'm thinking of getting a polo gt and the insurance is quite cheap... for me anyway (£3000) but as soon as i declare mods such as lowering, exhaust and alloys they go crazy and wack on an extra £5000 bringing it to £8000.. To all the people who knows how it feels to be ripped off like this then do you declare these mods or not? its not like they're good mods anyway :( ideas people -.-

Have you tried our people? Sky Insurance, Chris Knott and Adrian Flux? If you tell them you're in Club Polo you get better rates too :)

I've not recently but a while back they basically at me ( they wouldnt quote me) unless I'm typing things in wrong?

Put your dad on as a named driver, it will still be your policy and build up your no claims all it means is that your dad is also covered to drive it. Having an experienced driver also on the policy can bring the price down

Also limiting your annual mileage can help as well as adjusting the excess can bring it down a little. All-in all tho due to your age you are never going to get it cheap. I feel sorry for any one passing their test now, it really is getting fucking stupid.
