I bought these a while ago off another member off this forum, maxmax, who may be surprised to see me put them up for sale.

They are standard VW fitment, 4x100, ET38, 6J wide, and come with 57.1 spigot rings.

I personally have never seen another set of these wheels

Nobody i know has ever seen a set

Nobody knows exactly what they are or what they are off, all i know is that they came off a scirocco.

max says he trawled the online forums to find out what they are, but to no avail.

so, if anybody does know what they are, please say!!

either way, these wheels are certainly rare, and will be one-of-a-kind at shows etc, not like the 50% of polo's that have ats classics.

I bought them in a shite condition aesthetically, rather badly corroded faces.

i have since poured hours of labour and a fair amount of money into polishing the shit out of them to get them how they are now.

They are polished to a very good standard, as i lead a boring life and have a lot of time to spend doing mindless things like stroking wheels with a cloth.

unfortunately, they are NOT perfect. a couple wheels have a bit of kerb rash, i got rid of a lot of the kerb rash in the refurb, but there is still some scars. beleive me though, it doesnt detract much from the wheels' value.

they get a lot of attention, because people like shiny stuff.

selling them regrettably as i am trying to raise funds for my engine build, and as anyone knows, speed before looks is the way forward :-D

Price is a staggeringly gobsmacking sum of £200, or near offer.

swaps are definitely considered, and very much preferred, as if i sell these, my car will sit on axle stands, which means i wont be able to drive very fast.

the tyres are 185/60, and all have a good amount of life in them.

interested in a deal with my RA's... 165/70's on them 2 brand new and other 2 seen a couple of hundred miles

Iirc, the prevous owner of the rocco had the wheels imported from japan, so I'm guessing they came of some 4x100 jap car.

Swaps for some cream Pslots? Just had new front drivers side tyre back 2 are running about 6mm and passenger front about 4-5mm. No kerbing on any, got vw centercaps and bolt covers. Ill get a pic when I'm back from work if you are interested? Cheers Gazz

I have new wheels now so could do with getting shot of these bad boys.

They havn't actually been used since this thread was put up because the car's been having a rebuild, so still good treads.

Gave them another polish last night, they didnt need it, but i was waiting for some paint to dry. They come up really damn nice.

anyway, since I need them gone, I will take offers. Delivery can be arranged for about £20. I'd rather you sort your own out using Parcel2go.com, usually quotes are about £17 for 2 boxes each containing 2 wheels.

so yeah, £200 now, even though £220 was a bargain IMO.

re-polished them recently, havnt been driven on in months, just been sat on the car gathering dust, someone buy them and give them a good home!
