right today i was fittin my bonnet lifters and had to drill a hole for the right one but when i was drillin the hole the drill bit bent ( cheep ones my dad got )and when it bent it spun off rippin somethin off with it. can some one pls tell me what this is and what it does.

Is that not part of the charcoal canister system? I see no reason why that couldn't be bodge back together. Just slot the two broken bits together and then melt them back together using some thing like a soldering iron.

As above - just superglue the blue bit back on,wait for it to harden,then press the black plug back on. Its no big issue. You can always replace it (or even do away with it) later.

Cheers boys but what is the green and yellow wire for? That came out of the thin black tuble on the left of the pic

just activates that valve. Just leave it unplugged as it wont cause any issues.

TBH just rip the whole lot out the cars most likely done more then 5000 miles (average life of the charcoal cannister) so the system is now pretty redundant.

And use a drill that brakes when you lift off the button,that must've just carried on going :lol:

I was using a SDS drill cs my hand drill battery was dead lol
