this is my alpine white mk3 coupe, daily run around and hardly get time to work on it but done this in the last 7month....... :-D

firstly started by getting it debadged and just some shoddy rims for the time being....

then decided to get it resprayed as it had a bucket load of rust

started with red oxide

then started smoothing it with wet and dry

smoothed ariel

ball ache arch

smoothed all the way

primed!!

and sprayed! :-D

all put together

then got new interior out of a genesis rather that my grey set

stripped :-)

got drums rubbed down ready for srapying

and red oxided

then broke down :( in middle of nowhere so after taking it home found out head gasket has blown because one of the water pipes blew off and caused it to overheat

so time to get the head restored...

old headbolts

head block took off to have a gander

head and manifold

camshaft ok :-)

ready to get skimmed.....

old oil breather because its just corroded

SKIMMED :-D

New breather pipe :-)

new and old exhaust manifold gaskets

new oil filter

new head bolts

all new gaskets :)

new timing belt

carb manifold gasket new and old

carb manifold and head put together

new and old head gasket

new and old rocker cover gasket

all in and together :-)

also had new brakes all around and sprayed them in the process :-)

tried getting caliper holder off and this happens

so just got all new bolts :-)

caliper holder sprayed in red oxide

and now caliper sprayed in red oxide

got to spraying everything white now :-)

AND I haven't EVEN BEEN OUT WITH MY CAMERA TO TAKE AND PICTURES

but ill get some more up soon :-D

p.s lowering springs are on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It's not that bad - I gently pressed it into place and trimmed it roughly to size, then sprayed the glue on, pressed it back into position and trimmed it properly.

found you! saw you in Doncaster ages ago and put a flyer on this for my site' EastCoastModified.org' car looked a pretty bad state at the time, but you've done some great work getting it back to its former glory are you planning an engine swap or just keeping with the spi?

suprised you and Rob havnt met up, pretty much the same car and live in the same town
