well thought it was about time i got a thread in here as iv been around the forum for about 6 months now, anyway iv got a 9n 1.4tdi with issues such as the turbo cutting out because it wants to and puffing out clouds of black smoke recently, but iv choosen to ignore them at the minute as they wont hurt it and i want it looking sparkly

brought it completely standard but with tints in december with silly bad running issues for the sum of £1000 i then got home and stripped it to find a follower had gone through the head, so a new head was brought for £200 and put on and it ran perfect so i got on the mission of making it look nice, first thing to do was lower it so i found some ap's and fitting them minus the adjusters obviously as its the only way to run, i then found it wasnt nearly low enough and to this day am still getting round to ringing someone up about custom rear springs to lower me another inch or so, anyway after the coilovers where fitted i got myself some audi tt comps on 205 40 17s and ran them for a little while, whilst on them i lamin-x'd the headlights, fitted 9n3 rear lights and the usual small stuff such as removed the badges and the rear wiper, i then decided tt comps were way to common and way to big to get any decent lows on, so i did the deal of my life and straight swapped them for a set of standard bbs rm's on 165 50 15, i know there common as muck aswell and there not really my thing but i couldnt say no to such a deal, thats where we are now anyway, fitted the rm's this weekend but some are leaking are so are coming back off again today to be stripped and re-sealed they will then go on the car untill after usc and then sold on ebay or similar to the highest bidder to make way for porka 928 wheels and seats and i also need to build back up my bass as i miss it, after that essay though lets just say pictures speak a thousand words, please bear in mind this is fresh off the jack and hadnt been driven to settle back in

oh i also aquired this just befor christmas, still havnt found an airbag for it though

dnt mean to be a prik but them rms are far to smallo and were are u gettin you are springs made and what price are u looking at as I'm suffering from the same problem as you need more lows haahhahhhhaahh

i know they are, but swopping a set or tt comps that i had just started to repolish with 2 tyres on there way out for a set of rm's on brand new tyres is not an amazing deal? dont worry they are going up for sale after usc as i want some porka wheels or something a little bit different, not a clue yet i know there was a company at mod nats that made them but i forget the name of it so I'm stuffed, if all else fails the grinder comes out to play i think

been a while since this was updated but since then the polo has gone lower, its now unfortunatly on cut rear springs and the fronts are 8 threads from the bottom with no helpers, its on mk3 gti wheels as the bbs are still being split as its effort, got some pictures at usc over the weekend anyway and here they are, treated the polo this month and spent over £300 on it coming this week i have 9n3 gti skirts. 9n3 gti grill although i dont know yet if this will fit, 9n3 black rear lights disks and pads all round and a engine steady bar, as you can see its scraping now and iv somehow got 15s scrubbing :p does anyone else think 9ns dont go low enough because I'm still not happy with it :/ anyway stop blabbing pictures

small update, 9n3 gti skirts, makes it look the tiniest bit lower but its still 4x4ing it :( think i might need to save for some air :/

i brought 1" dishes for the front and the gf kindly got me 2" for the rears

so there being rebuilt and painted for show season this year :) ready for early edition i hope

test fitting

and come back from paint today

cant wait to get them finished now :)
