Still pretty new to the VW scene... Really confused by all the engine letters and numbers...

Just had one quick question.

I've seen lots of cams listed on websites for VW 8v (autotech to name one), but they don't really identify the engine displacement. My engine has the crossflow head (1.3 MH) and I'm assuming hydraulic lifters... Is it possible to put on the 8v cams listed in my engine?

Sorry for the noob question.. I searched, but only saw the UPGRADE CAM thread, but didn't really understand all of it...

youd need to ask the seller what its for

you do have 8 valves and its hyd , but id imagine alot on sites are for 8v golfs unless stated which wont suit

Sorry, I do have a Golf. It's a MK2... I only decided to ask here because there doesn't seem to be much information on the 1.3 anywhere else.

yeah i was meaning 8v golf gti which is totaly differant

best ask the seller and get a list of what it suits ...

Yeah, I know that... I meant cams in the generalistic term. As in, "all the types of cams available for the 8v".
