LOL. A very valid point. However, i find it works out cheaper to buy them as a set. Through my experience at finding parts for my old Metro, buying the parts individualy, people seem to think they are somtimes worth more.

Had some time free this week so got a few jobs sorted on the car.

Front has settled down loads now. Need to drop the rear a little to match.

Fitted the amber running lights in the bumper. Love them.. Nearly ready for bugjam now.

Yes mate they are. Just have to cut nice and tight.

what year golf they of and i suppose with the correct measurements it should go to plan dont facy making 2 holes in my bumper and them being out of place or to big a hole

Off a mk3 golf mate. Bought them for my vento and never fitted them.

Made a tight fitting template out of thin card masked the bumper side off and then made a template of the bumper side from the edge of the bumper/ wheel arch. Looked where i would like it and draw the template on. Made the cut smaller than the template and filed until really tight pop in fit and mounted from the rear with PU adisive. Took template of the side that was done eg of the bumper profile and turned it round for the other side . Left over night in the house for addisive to harden . Sorted end result

One week to bug jam and i have slipped a disk in my back. Have a list of things to do to get the car ready, Thats if i can even go. Not the best thing to be driving with a slipped disk lol

Cheers mate. Just hope I can drive it to bug jam. Docs have said poss can't drive for 2 weeks. Not good. Don't think I would get in it anyway with it being that low. Can't bend down lol.
