steering rack

Featured Replies

hi all, i went to kwit fit today to have my tracking done on my 1992 mk3 polo coupe, but they said the drivers side steering arm was bent, but upon further looking when i got home, it looks like it bends to miss another part in the engine bay, so as it looks, a straight bar wouldnt fit anyway???

very confused and was wondering if it is supposed to be bent and has any body had the same problem? :?

Some of these people are like 'television mechanics', they put a pair of overalls on and instantly become fully skilled mechanics.

Regards.

never ever use kwik fit , so they quoted you cheapest then told you a pack of lies trying to up the bill

I got an utter bargain from kmwik fit the other week.

One of the van's tyres needed a plug in, it was sunday, I didn't have a choice, they were the only place open, so it was to them I went.

No charge for the plug, just pay for fitting and balancing (over a tenner :o ). I said yeah fine, we'll have to do it.

Went back to pick it up, they'd plugged it, fitted it, but found the centre was too big for the balancer, so no charge

They'd left the weights on, so I stuck it on the back and happy days.
