Up for sale is my 2000 Polo GTI 6n2 3dr in silver.

Good Points

Years MOT

5 months tax

Wheels are in good condition

Engine in good condition, starts every time and no noises.

Bodywork good, only a few small stone chips as expected.

Tyres still have lots of tread

Usual GTI spec: Xenon, Climate, BBS Alloys etc ...

I am looking to sell this car quickly as I would like to buy a newer car for work.

Comes with roof rack/bike carrier

In the last 1000 miles I have had the following:

1) New belts(cam, alt, aux) + water pump

2) New FNS Wheel Bearing

3) New plugs+ air filter

4) New FNS driveshaft

5) New calliper carrier

Bad Points

1) The car currently has an issue with the front drivers side drive shaft area or clutch. I have not pinpointed the exact problem and have decided not to spend any more time/money in resolving the problem. The car currently makes a scraping noise like the brakes are rubbing, however this is not the breaks as it makes no difference is the breaks are applied or not. The noise continues if the clutch is pressed which rules out the gearbox. The clutch is slipping when pulling away from a standing start although it was replaced two years ago. The drive shaft and wheel bearing have been replaced but not solved the issue. In my opinion the problem is probably universal joint /cv joint or the clutch. The car needs someone who has the time to pinpoint the problem and resolve the issue. I think I have priced the car at a fair price to reflect this. Apart from this the car is in good condition.

2) Windows do not work.

3) 117k on clock

This car could become a very good example if someone was willing to put the money in to resolve the issues with the drivetrain. I require something more economical as I am now commuting 100 miles a day to Bristol for work.
