So, we left here at 3AM this morning after priming everything up... Shame i've only just realised we didnt prime the mirrors hahaha. But thats alright, they're going black not body colour anyway :) Shuts are now all rubbed back ready to be painted, just on a break then i'm back in and doing the backs of the doors and boot :) Which will hopefully be painted tonight :)

Forgot to mention, rear arches were tubbed aswell when we started doing everything :) As we say... 'TO LE SMASH SMASH!!' haha.

Me neither! It won't be long now untill it's painted and back together, then it's time to turn my head to the inside and build more shit haha, although saying that I'll probably send it to either Studio-in car, or, futureshock audio for a proper build :)

those arches look horrible as fuck at the minute so i really hope there are going to be arch extensions on lol =D not sure how well thats going to work but hopefully youll pull it off, so far the few "jdm" polos with arch extensions have been a bit of a fail so i wish you look.....shame the rotas are going they looked really good

10points to polomon! Although I'd say I'm more inspired by the drift scene with the way it's come out (yes I know it's really a fwd polo) but yeah it is still JDM inspired to. nothing is blocked back yet, all the markings are there for it to be drilled out whilst it's still in primer then any imperfections can still be sorted. I agree about the arch lines ect which is why the rear has been tubbed and the fronts have been chopped out to because the line up is shit, also as I'm on bags, making the line of the arches line up with the swage in the wings and arches to make it sit lower doesn't matter to me :) bumper has also been cut of for the extra clearance room. They won't be screwed on, it'll be all riveted on with a bronzy/goldy coloured rivet and possibly rivnuts on the bumpers where the arches attatch.

New wheels are also rotas, different style in a 9j et0 all round :) waiting for mine to be collected and then the new ones will be ordered. Thanks dude, were gonna do our absolute best to pull it off, luckily where i work we deal with our sponsor cars (1 x bdc and 1 x timeattack) so manipulating things to make them fit properly is pretty easy. We'll make them work properly partially because I'm fucking anal about getting them to work properly haha :)

Yeah 8j et0, if you look through there should be a pic of them on before I did my arches originally and added three washers haha.

Yeah no doubt about it, the whole thing is marmite, half the time i'm not even sure on parts of it myself. It'll be pimp, but alot of people won't like it and i know i'll get alot of stick for it.. Haha, not fussed though!

On another note. Painted the shuts, backs of doors, back of boot and the tops of the wings tonight. FUCK ME, colour is amazing. :)

I might have lied and might be getting some of these now! Basically been offered a swap for a brand new set in 4x114.3 15x8 and 15x9, so i'd need adaptors(prob go 25mm), which would work out to fill my arches perfectly... Providing we've worked it out properly!

Painting it today (Sunday) was meant to be yesterday, but some idiot wouldn't move his car when we asked so we could swap around another car and mine from the booth then it started to rain and we can't get it wet!
