Is there any difference in the engines? have heard that the box mounts are different?

Any help would be welcome.

The Polo and Golf both got the AEE but they had different gearbox bolt patterns so they were not interchangeable.

So its possible the same may be the case there.

There both 02T gearboxes so would that indicate there interchangerble ?
