Is an aluminum rocker cover from a MK3 direct bolt in for a 1.3 MH? I've found one (i think is off of a TDI, but I can't remember right now) and it has the three center bolts....

Will it fit?

some mk2 polos had them , seem to have been randomly fitted , not sure any tdi would have one ?

^^ I'm gonna go with that being what he means,given the MK3 is the 6N.

In which case you need the later gasket and bolts too,just make sure you only tighten them up enough to press on the rubber adequately,fingertip tight.

You have no idea how easy they snap.

If the one in the pic above,straight swap,same seal and bolts.

In any case,make sure you only turn the bolts until they nip up,dont put any torque on them.

i swear mh is the old solid lifter head? or am i getting confused with something else?

no, mikeys right, mh is a hydraulic engine, hk, gk, hh, gl etc are solid lifter

no, mikeys right, mh is a hydraulic engine, hk, gk, hh, gl etc are solid lifter

oh right! i see haha, must be a hk engine in my friends coupe s then!

So, I picked it up... only issue I've seen so far is that the new rocker cover doesn't have a port for the crankcase breather.....

Don't know what to do about that!
