Front engine mount next. Seeing as the engne bay is gradually getting quite blinged up, the front engine mount was looking quite dull and boring. So decided to make it in stainless as well, also using one of the same poly bushes.

After some cardboard mocking up and some measuring, cutting and drilling on stainless plate and tube

Just need to make the other part of the front mount which will bolt to the chassis, but other stuff is a priority at the moment.

Will hopefully update soon, apologies for boring you all with my crap and probably crashing your computers with the sheer number of pics

Hardcore man, 6 hours

All the fabricating is quality

Man, This is what i call a build thread, not just messing about with an engine and wheels etc.

I'm so jealous, Wish i had a decent welder and a garage.

All the fabbing is amazing as well, how much did all the stainless cost you!?

Cheers for the kind comments fellas 8-)

Thanks to Saf, G40 AD and Winston, I now have a serious hankering for a G40 engine :x Thanks a lot knobheads

As soon as I have got myself some money, one is getting BOUGHT.

Cheers,

Arun

LOL!!!!... Your car + small block boost = The perfect Mk1

Did Saf not blag you to buy the machined ABD pistons & rods he got off tommo? They would work perfectly with the new engine your building. Then you just have to pick your choice of charger ;)

PS.. Polished and coated would be perfect.. Is that how you have done your mounts? <3
