It looks like an AEE, how far from Milton Keynes is Newport pagnell? As I am in mk next week and if it isn't too much of a mooch I will come for a nosey an I'd the parts are the same number I will take them off your hands

ok mate newport pagnell in about 10 mins max from mk city so its not far at all. I'm going to start breaking the car tomorrow

it cranks but dont start. I'm plugging in the vag tomorrow and will give you more of an update on what needs doing etc. if it's not much i will do it myself. make me an offer.

well i basically want all the bits to bolt it into a 1.4 8v, not sure if id need the immobiliser unit & ring etc and keys, or i could reprogram the ecu for my current keys.

do you know why it wont start? how many miles? was it running before? how did it run?

id give you £200 for the lot, baring in mind you can pick up complete runners for £350?

ok, i only brought the car yesterday so havn't had time to look into it more yet. i will plug the vag in later and tell you more. it has 132000 miles on it but it has been looked after as the keeper before was a mechanic and serviced it regularly. if you are interested tell me every part you need and i will take it off monday.

no luck with running. started breaking today. engine gearbox etc should be out tomorrow. its a 1996 and i think its an AEE from what people have told me.

i get what your saying but he has a civic coupe vtec if you had a better car would you really bother fixed the other one of just get rid of it quick and have a bit of money? I'm telling you all i know. i only got it to break not for the engine when i get it out today i will have a closer look at it.

i wasnt being funny lol, was just working out what the crack is. take it you just bought it to break for the bits you want, like interior etc?

lol ok. ye i only brought it for bumpers fogs interior etc and thats it. I'm sure it had compression not sure on the spark though i have started break today and engine and gearbox will be out tomorrow i hope so when its out i will try and get it started.

I will be selling the engine and gearbox seperately as i have some coming to the at the inlet manifold and thermostate house engine is being sold spares and repair or will break for bits. offers on the gearbox.
