For sale I have a set of :

1.6 16v GTI pistons / GTI connecting rods and GTI crankshaft

All working condition and no damage at all , pulled from a fully working 80k GTI..

These will drop straight into an AFH engine to make an AFH 1.6 16v (125hp - 130hp+)

Cheap upgrade and lots of tuning potential

All in good condition

Collection ony due to weight

Ideally I am looking for a 1.6 8v AEE engine or just the engine block ( can be the bare block with matching big ends) so I'd be willing to do a straight swap for the above components.

or buy it now Price £70... I can throw the crank driven oil pump in if you need it and if i can find it!

lol they wont fit in a afh block i wouldent think unless the width is the same, most people that have done this conversion uses the whole bottom end :)

Chris please don't give put duff information, any one that has read the faq will already know your post isn't correct.

I advise any one considering buying these to read the faq which will give you all the info you need from people that have actually done, or have knowledge of the conversion. Saves a lot of misinformation.

Hi These will fit straight in , it would be more benefitial to change the internals than use the complete bottom end of an AVY on an AFH beacuse although the head will physically fit on AFH head to AVY bottom end some ports do not match perfectly ( water galleries).

should be a straight swap providing your engine doesnt use the oil chain style oil pump

I still have these , no silver has crossed my palms yet.

£70 is a good price for a nice set of pistons and crank..for big CC's and a real 20 - 30 bhp increase over a standard 1.4 16v AFH.

People pay this sort of money for so called performance spark leads that give 0 BHP increase over standard items!
