Whats all your opinions on all the business with the News of the World, and tomorrow being the last one?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to get out of your little bubbles

I think its really bad what they have done, however its being replaced by a Sunday edition of The Sun... So surely this defeats the point of binning the NOTW. As afterall, its the same company and will probably be all the same people doing it (besides the idiots in the shit for it)

i'm going to buy one then sell it on ebay

Have to feel sorry for some of the lower down people in the company who've had nothing to do with this and now have no job, The Sun even turned round (same company!) and basically said there's no jobs there?

It was trash. And so were half the readers.

What business is it of ours to push the press so hard for info on.. Millie, for example? Since when was it any of our business?

Tabloid trash gossiping about shit we don't need to know about, people can't get enough of the drama, the gossip, the plain bloody bitchin about others in this life - hence the popularity of miserable soaps and Jeremy Vile.

I dont care who Jordan's shagging this week, so who gives a toss for NOTW?

Good riddance. Get a real job.

Page 3 ftw.

Page 3 ftw.

:drool::nod:

It'll open back up as The Sunday Sun...

No more news of the screws.

There's already a Sunday Sun.

good riddance. any knock to the arrogance and sheer monopolising business of murdoch is a good one.

I never bought it so its no loss to me, gotta feel sorry for a lot of them that have lost their jobs tho but I guess that's just life.

I buy the sun every day for work mostly for page 3 and deidre's photo case book. I need to have some thing to read on my 20 min shit break while my phone charges up after a morning fucking about on the net.

Totally agree with mikey on the celebraty tosh though, its shocking how often some bints dress overshadow's a genuinely news worthy event.

x2

News papers are probably on their way to death anyway with devices like the Amazon Kindle Apple iPad, iPhone, Adroid phones etc paired with the ever expanding range of places you can get online which is pretty much everywhere now with 3G and 4G networks. Similar media will still be around but you'll be less likely to see what you don't want to. I'm quite happy with my BBC news iPhone app for example.

independent app on blackberry FTW!

I miss The News Of The Screws already...

sunday sport it is then,oh well.. :-)

Anyone else noticed how all the other Sunday papers are cramming the tv with adds to try and get the notw's readers?

" The sunday star, the sunday paper you can trust" A dig at the NOTW if ever I saw one

They all went mad the 1st sunday without the NOTW, they all dropped there prices by like atleast half, slowly creeping back up now though.

Thing that suprises me, a lot of the customers at work have gone from the NOTW to the telegraph? :? there miles apart in terms of whats in the paper...

Mirror or People are the next closest.

A Sunday edition of the Sun will be being released soon. After its all cooled down.

The mirror pissed me off, nothing in particular just the way its written and layed out
