Loving the lenso's, what size are they?

crop them in paint mate looks great on them lenso's, wasent holding much hope when you said you'd bought some but i like it! 185's on the back and 165's on the front maybe?

Is the yellow just a photoshop or is that how they are?

Not feeling the red oxide, probably because half of my car is in red oxide and i hate it

yea wheel colour is photoshop, i will be leaving the centre ilver and polishin the lip

the last 2 days iv been in my garage making nylon engine mounts and rear beam bush's, I'm going to have the front gearbox and front engine mout made of nylon and the rear lower gear box solid ali (or maybe half nylon not sure yet) can see the ali mount in the back ground of the catch tank pic

i was lookin into do a rover arb conversion on the beam but then had a thought 2day and welded a piece of angle iron down the middle, picture to show what i mean

me and a mate twisted the beam befor and wer shockd at how much you could twist it, now it still has a little bit of flex but id say its a big improvment

also made a catch tank :)

dam, yea think i myt go with a wishbone subframe and make up an arb setup

i swapped a paintball gun for this forge header tank, ill jus block off one of the ports at the bottom

and started to polish the cam cover, the picture is from bout 15 mins with a mop in a drill using carbide polishin paste/block

update time.....

i bought some 28mm cds tubing and have started bending to make a subframe, I'm going for like a stage 3 sot of fame but going to keep the use of the arb :)

also started to make the manifold for the itb's.

i used the standard afh mani and mill'd it down so just had the flange and injector holes left, am then going to weld on some ali tube that has been oval'd one end and then weld the bodies to the tube and thn the boring part of port matching and polishing the inside :(

oh yea i bought some braided brake lines and am going to drill/groove the discs

done a few more things this weekend

finished moking up the manifold jus need to weld it all together

used a wire brush thing in the end of my drill to get the rust off the rear beam, and it worked a treat :) stripped it raw and painted it with red oxide primer then with red caliper paint and black spray paint

fitted it today along with the nylon bush's and some braid brake lines

started on makin my subframe, made up the 2 plates and got the front bar bent and tacked in place.

does anyone no if a 4 speed rear gearbox mount is the same as a 5 speed one?

i have a 4 speed lyin around in my garage and duno if i can use it as a template to make a new one for wen the subframes on

worked fine mate. silicone hoses wer used just have to ram one end over the oval then jubili clip um on

it wasnt done by me or the last owner so its worked fine for a fair while

The car as it stands.....

Afh engine with cbr carbs on the itb manifold, iv left the injectors in to fill the holes incase the new owner decides to go throttle bodies if not u can block the holes with bolts or sumthing

The cambelt was done by last owner (matt way) befor he dropped the emgine in around a year ago

G40 brakes with near new vented discs and brand new brembo pads and braided lines al round

Rear beam was strengthend and derusted and painted red and black with nylon bushs

2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust

Carrado front seats in good condition, coupe s door cards including the rears, mono tuner steering wheel with quick release, still has the original tape player with ipod cassete adaptor.

Its sprayed oxide red (pics of mr doing it r in this thread) but unfortunatly the windscreen got cracked down the middle as we were puttin it back in (i will get a new one ordered for fitting for the new buyin on day of collection and knock off the price of what it will cost)

Has a chrome forge motorsport header tank.

I also sprayed up al the outside trims in matt black and riveted them back on with tiger seal under neith to keep the water out, also ther was rust on the driverside sill witch i have chopped out and replace, whole car is solid and rust free!!

Brand new powerflex poly bushed tcas and nylone arb blocks made by me ( see thread)

It will be on a set of 14x6 ronal multispoke alloys but the tyres arnt the best, will aslo come with the lenso rims witch i started to refurb, the lips have been polishd jus the centres need to be sprayd in what ever colour you'd lik, they will possibly come with a set if decent low profile tyres.

Iv done all the work that neede doin to go thro next mot...welding, ball joint boots, brakes etc

I'm after 1200 ono i think is fair as I'm already going to be losin money on it buti realy want to go away so this had to go

Oh and the carbs arnt set up as i was going itb's so i jus bought another mk2 ignition and a ser of carbs so that its a running car again, ill nock 50 off if u dont want to use these carbs
