I really dislike speedbumps..... i think they're trying to kill my Polo!!

I totally get that they're there to slow people down, but why make them so big and evil?

theres one near me and the council are so poor with looking after roads there is a huge dip just before the speedbump, so my front bumper nearly gets left at it!

I think they should have a legal height limit.....

There is a legal height for speed bumps, think its 10cm but id need to check

I'm pretty sure there is a height limit, you should research it and go measure it up. I'm sure someone will be along soon to give the height.

Does that go from the road to the top of the speedbump? Because this one has got a dip before it, which makes it worse, I've had to stop driving down that road because of it!

You guys should try the speed bump in Ayr. There are flat along the top and crazy steep on either end, almost like climbing a kerb head on. I drove over a couple in my dads Punto at like 3mph and it was still THUNK THUNK as the wheels climbed up them.

I saw some cracking ones in Newport, Wales last sunday when I was picking my Fail of a big bro up from uni, might have seemed worse as the car was full of 3 years of my brothers life.

I was gonna say, that's not speed bump, it's a jump!

The only piece of road in the world I find "intimidating".

However also the road is prone to flooding being next to a river so the speed bump provides refuge from rising water.
