I've removed the rear VW emblem badge from the boot of my 6n.

I don't want to smooth it. I've blacked the badge and reattatched it to the rubber/plastic backing.

I'm a bit stuck with how to re-apply?? Is it possible to buy the foam tape adhesive stuff that was beneath it to begin with??

or is there something else that i can use? I just want to make sure it will be strong enough! :-D

I used black silicone on mine :) Seemed to work and hold nicely...

cheers :) only thing i have is that 2 part epoxy clay stuff you mix the inside and outside together but i don't thing it would be strong enough when it dries, goes quite brittle i think :p

I bought some number plate adhesive strips (basically 1mm double sided) and the badge fell off after 2 weeks

Going to resort to silicone now!
