Aint you heard of Bosozuku dude? Its a trend they have over there to be as over the top as possible. Its not like they do stuff like that because it looks good so to speak.

It stems back from an old Japanese biker gang of the same name, who used to make their bikes completely over the top daft so as to scare the general public and let them know they were part of the gang.

I think a lot of it is fucking cool anyway though lol.

the reason the cars look like that is because, like many car cultures, they copy what the motorsport versions look like

Even though that does sound sunny, its just not something you'd do.

It's come from gang culture. CBA to reel it all off on here, but the style is inspired by the bikes that gangs of kids used to ride around that were designed to disrupt the peace as much as possible. Loud to look at, loud to run, and they had a lairy taste in clothing and hair styles too.

Bosozoku style mimics this, but it's not meant to annoy in itself. It's just taking the style and applying it to cars.
