Unfortunately the time has come to sell my much loved polo. I have owned this car now for almost a year and a half and it owes me nothing, the only things I have ever had to do is full service, two new front tyres and two new front shocks. The car went through its last MOT no problem not even one advisory.

This car drives well and pulls well for a 1.3 and feels solid. The engine is lovely and smooth with single point injection and is the same engine as the G40 minus the super charger. I have been putting off selling this car for awhile as it has been such a great little car and I had planned to do it up nicely but just never got round to it due to lack of cash. But the car need to go now as I also have a golf and car afford to keep both cars insured.

The car is currently completely standard apart the alpine 6x9s in the parcel shelf, uprated dash speakers and headunit with mp3 connectivity (headunit works but some buttons need to be pressed a few times before they work) and would make a perfect project. The body work is in great condition for age with one or two tiny marks here and there. There is a spot of rust on the bottom of the passenger side door no bigger then a 5p coin.

The only things that don't work on this car are the fuel gauge and the horn. The fuel tank sender unit has gone and I have been looking for a new one but haven't come across one and it doesn't bother me as I just count the miles. The horn went recently and i think they are about a fiver to buy new. Apart from that everything else works perfect.

I have the original hand book and a few of the past MOT's and the V5 document and I think somewhere I have some past service history but I'm not sure. If i have left anything out I will post it up asap.
