No idea what that has to do with this thread, but its properly funny :lol:

This thing has been getting on my tits recently.

Its come very very close to being scrapped in the past couple of days

5th time lucky with the rattle in the exhaust. its finally sorted. Although it now sounds like a tank due to having an empty cat, no midbox and a backbox with a gaping hole in it

Still, its not as noisy as that bloody rattle it had. Bits of cat stuck in various places rattling around :anger:

This is the split i noticed when working on the exhaust

New CV boot now fitted

Then yesterday when i had the exhaust off for the 5th time, i started the car up once fitted to see if it was blowing from anywhere still and noticed the petrol pump was leaking, quite badly

I'd already been mega pissed off from exhaust troubles, then i spot this. It was nearly the end...

Luckily, i had a spare (as you do) and this is now fixed also.

Feeling a bit better now I've managed to fix some bits. just i have suspicions that the drivers side outer CV boot is split somewhere. As there is grease splattered on the inside of my wheel.

Couldnt feel anything, but need to have a better look tomorrow.

Will be pissed off if it is... but i have a spare boot also so will just have to wizz the shaft off and get this one swapped over too.

Think its hit the age/mileage where everything is going to start breaking now.

I can feel that the clutch is on its way out, just hope it lasts a few more months now.

Trimmed to boot too, as couldnt get the panel i needed to cover the wiper motor etc. So just glued some vinyl over it

Looks so much better now, just because the cream carpet doesnt stand out like a sore thumb haha

Its still underneath, so when carrying dirty objects or Olly's mom in the back i can take the vinyl up.

GT steel as a spare, as my actual spare has a leaky valve. Thats why its such a big bulge.

I've got one of those platic boot panels. It has a big crack in, but you can have it if you want :-)

Hubs,coilys,driveshafts are what i have in my head. Just weighing up the options as i could get a decent set of mk1 coilys for the price of just gaz shocks and some ok springs tbf.

Wouldn't say it was a waste of a conversion, the ones he's got aren't really gonna do well if its a track weapon, plus he can sell them on!
