Friday the 12th of August is the day i get paid. I've booked it off work so i have the day to Insure, MOT and tax it. All going well, it will be then that I'm on the road.

And I've been naughty already... but i simply couldnt say no, and they were local.

Never seen them on a MK3 bready before, so they may or may not work. But hopefully it will look sick, it does in my head atm anyway.

And what wheels might they be i wonder Looks so much better without the spot's. Capri green is my favourite MK3 colour too.

Did you give those shocks a chance to settle before chopping so much off them? If not expect a nice suprise the first time you hit a decent bump, I nearly ripped my wing of cause I was turning when it happened on mine

Spent most of today trying to seal the blows in the exhaust. Gave up as they keep blowing through the Gum.

Sorted the 2 holes on the backbox so its just the joins now. Hopefully that wont cause an MOT fail as there not holes. Just joins.

Need it on the road to be able to sort the exhaust, as its having some bodgery. Midbox will be gone and the bikecan i bought for the coupe (that i no longer want on the coupe) is going on. With some custom mounts etc. Should be pretty tucked up and hopefully never fall off

Washed it for the 1st time also today, looks a lot better. Boot leaks though, so sorting a new one. Well, I've already sorted it just gotta paint it lol.

I know what it's like though, i bought my mk2 for a run around whilst i was sorting everything on my mk3,

After a a month or two i hadn't even touched the car i was supposed to be sorting out, and the mk2 was lowered on some re-furbed wellers, and was having all its paint sorted out.

I too know that feeling. When you buy a 'run around' it always ends in a project. My MK3 was supposed to be left standard and driven while i got my mk1 back on the road. One year on, and i have a slammed MK3 i'm thinking about painting, that has a £250 lowereing kit, polybushes, £300 stereo system, other stuff which i CBA to type, and has stolen the MK1's wheels And no progress at all on the MK1.

If i move that line to where it should be in the little clip thing and grind a bit away it should be OK.

the best solution to that prob is to relocate the steering arm bitson the struts, i have contemplated it with mine as the track arm is hopping of the inner wing too
