So i bought this mk3 about a month ago now and planning alot of things for it but gunna sort a few bits out for it.

things that need doing:

Sort out knocking/creaking from front.

sort out damage, where someone hit me.

spray (again!..)

then the modifications will continue, heres a few pics...

when i got the car

getting the damage out. (mostly, just waiting for new bonnet and strip that runs under grill)

And new exhaust system, old one kept falling off :p

Got a good straight bonnet you can have for a tenner if you need it mate. Did any thing ever happen about the arsehole that crashed into you?

yeh i will soon, its pretty loud though as its decat with a small "cheery bomb" middlebox and no backbox, with stainless piping the entire way through, thinking of getting some kind of custom small backbox though as its quite loud :p

Right quick update, ifor some reason one of the rocker bolts has sheared off, my brake pads are fucked (I hope), my tracking is out badly and my alternator belt snapped off on way back fromcinema :/.

Brake pads £20, tracking £20, alternator belt £8, sheared bolt drill it out or get a garage to extract it £40- hours labour?

More bad news, head gasket has gone, on hold once again, ill never be able to save up any money with this lol :/

headgasket is done, hopefully getting the fam to help chip in for coilys at xmas and then ima start saving for wheels aswell.

Also has anyone got a golf intake elbow as i wanna do mine?

Thanks pal and naa i dont think ill slash cut, it like it how it is, saving cash up for some nice wheels now and a few other bits :)
