UPDATES:

New rear wheel bearings

new alternator belt

Now my front wheel bearing has gone, but apparantly the HUB is f****d and the shock is leaking a little...

I need something newer as a daily, had enough...

Winter mate, everyone hates old cars in winter lol. Get it fixed up and running nice and youll fall back in love soon enough, it's all part of the fun!

Okay, so the polo caught the disease which goes by the name of, onethingfixedtwothingsbreakitus.

I've had enough, its coming off the road until I have got a new daily and paid off enough money that I'm borrowing. I've got big plans for this car, but at the moment they are looking like very long term ones.

watch this space.

il have a look tomorrow at what shocks I've got in the coilover pile- what side is knackered mate? i may have a strut you can have, in exchance for your buggered one.

stick with it mate, before I brought mine of the road in the space of 3 weeks the clutch went, the front bearing collapsed (hub was ruined) and someone hit it and drove off! cant get rid of it though!

Mk3 is now in the unit. updates will occur now and then, the first being how i literally filled a bin liner from the amount of shite that was in there when i cleared it out today...

Okay, so at the end of the month I'm going to start collecting bits for the g40 conversion, This will be the first engine conversion that i have ever undertook so I'm going to take my time with it and make sure everything is right.

First things first though, The car as it currently stands is complete, the shell is pretty solid but therte are a few areas which I'm not happy with so it most liklely will be seeing some fresh paint! Should i fuly strip the car's interior and engine then sort out bodywork, or is it worth getting a new engine in before the bodywork starts?

cheerss

I meant this christmas obviously aha

Looking forward to seeing this again mate, plans sound good. I'd fully strip it down and get doing the body work first. Then rebuild it all back up!
