  • So next on the list of things to do was look at the rear axle- I plan on stepping up a slick size again, and had slight concerns about how floppy a standard Polo rear axle was.  Que some inspirat

Nice car Yoofo,

My fave bits are the wheels and the paint, you do a great job of polishing it! More than I can ever be arsed to do ;)

80bhp on top of a 75bhp engine though. That's just crazy talk!

ah should have put, engine is 90bhp and 93lbft without nitrous, that's 80bhp on top of that ;)

170bhp gt! :shock::badgrin:

thats awesome! it really is a testament to your hard work of tuning this wee beatsie!

lovely car, had a quick peek at inters this yr....lovely! 8-)

Christian

Prime yoof mobile. Love it 8-)

A beaut! Top job yoofington

Karl.

You forgot to add the paint loving factor to your description

Did you get some spacers that worked for the front?

so have you actually used the 80bhp nos? can it handle it?

and does it feel like 170bhp's worth?

nice car by the way, lovin the wheels.

He changed the jet sizes just so that he could write in his spec list that it's got 80bhp worth of gas... Of course he's used it. :retard:

Can it handle it? Probably not long-term, would be okay I reckon with a progressive controller though.

Bhp ratings of nitrous jets are bollocks, a 50bhp jetting will give 15bhp on one car and 60bhp on another. Really depends on the setup. It's not as quick as a 170bhp G40 by any means, but with the old 50bhp shot (which RR'd at a 30bhp increase) it was as quick on the road as a stock G40.

As above, the wizards of nos system, and I have compelted all the work on the cars myself.

Absolutely awesome dude i love all the work you put into the engine

Have you done a 0-60 scince doing all the work or had it rolling roaded?

  • Author

Not had it rolling roaded or done any sprints yet, sitting on my drive with no suspension at the mo.

Last outing gave low 15s on the 1/4 (around 7sec 0-60) with new set-up minus the nitrous be nice to break stock g40 power figures.

nice work

deffo looks pimp, love that car, colour coded wheels look sick

Hope you don't mind yoof. Love this car, got a quality snap at Polo show.
