That is a hell of alot of money locked up in that warehouse.

Thing is in my opinion cars are meant to be driven, those obviously just get parked up and left and never get taken out for a play.

Granted they don't get used every weekend but I don't think there are many race series for ex-formula 1 cars. I prefer that they stay with the manufacture in their garage rather than get split up and sold off to private people who will keep it in their garage.

Lotus had a huge load of old cars in their collection including all the bond cars and some key historic cars which they sold when they where cash strapped.. it was a shame.

Marks got a point... You also have to remember the cost involved in getting one running and race ready, even then who would drive it? Would of thought most millionaires would be skint pretty quickly running one as a weekend toy!

Don't the engines only last a race or 2?

Has nobody been to the collection at Donington? There's a massive selection of mclarens!

I'm sure there is a video somewhere of Jenson and Lewis looking around the some of the full cars in there. I think it was shown on the BBC towards the end of last years season. I think they both had a look at one of Ayrton Senna's #1 cars.
