I like the idea you like a clean car - but pur-lease - a soapy brush on a stick from a coin meter - it only gets worse by using only one bucket when you clean your car by hand

:p

Do it at home with your hands! Get a better finish. Rookie error!

Got back and went over her with a sponge and water but i love the white foam and the smell of the cherry from the machine :)

Epic fail on the sponge!

Even my ratty Polo gets the lambs wool mitt treatment!

:p

I use a sponge, nothing wrong with it. Its been warn in as its over used :)

Swirl marks like a utter bitch

Invest a tenner on a Megs lambs wool and do your lacquer and paint a favour :)

cleanyourcar.co.uk or even Halfords!

I think there's a section on clubpolo.co.uk dedicated to the OCD inclined with regard to cleaning and detailing cars...it all starts with two buckets, a mitt...and not using your favourite dish washing liquid

:)

the audi garage in macc use the petrol stations Brush machine at times....

Whenever I took my Audi in for service I always specified, interior cleaning only - I've seen some shocking cleaning methods being used by dealers

This was a post where people could share pictures of washing there cars for pure curiosity, that's all.

I'm pullin you chain man I get the gist

Nice to see some people take pride in their motors I had to tell a guy at work today he had no oil in his car - I could hear the engine literally killing itself (not a bad thins PoS 03 Passat 'loon)

:)

I'll post an appropriate picture tomorrow when laptop is back on

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO people you def need to go on detailingworld big time.:retard::crybaby::wasted::smoke:

There is nothing wrong with a sponge! just rinse it of with water and look for dirt, if used correctly there is nothing wrong with it! :-p

A mitt is more difficult to rinse clean, I do think so...

keep in mind that it's the dirt not the sponge or mitt that causes the damages!

I think that manny users on DW is flashing round their gear, £50 buckets etc... ;P

sponges are horrible!

wipe one over a CD that you dont like and watch how much damage it makes! - think about that, on your paint lol.

as said, i use a mitt, always have since realising how bad using a sponge was.

I've seen professional valeters use a sponge, it cant be that bad

its like when people get all anal about writing in the dirt on there car

just to keep the OP happy with some pictures - cant be a bit of snowfoaming
