I think its time for me to sell my beloved polo it’s a 1.4 16v open air 1997 R in vw diamond black.

I have owned for 3 years now. Mechanically sound no problems. Cam belt and water pump done at 112,000 miles.

The car does come with electric mirrors, windows, heated rear window and central locking as standard.

6 months MOT and 6 months tax

Lighten and balanced fly wheel

118,318 miles will go up daily.

Body:

New painted 16v front bumper with 6n2 gti front splitter.

Smoothed Side repeaters

Arches pulled and flared all round.

Smoothed boot badge

Powerflow custom cat back exhaust.

Side strips Deleted

Rear rain gutters under rear lights smoothed.

Colour coded door handles.

Open air Roof

De wipered.

Flat wiper blades

Lights

Standard front head lamps with blue xenon blubs.

6n2 rears

Wheels and Suspension

Rota Zero Plus 15x8 et10 all round with Nankang 185/45/r15 tyres very good tread. 1.5 camber shims at the rear and lots of negative camber on the front.

AP Sport Coilovers.

Interior

Full leather re trim bye auto styling interiors back seats removed, removed due to needing more room, can be put back easily.

Mk4 6n2 gear knob

Up rated Apline dash speakers and JBL Components in front door cards, rear speakers in door cards not wired up.

I am keeping the head unit.

Bad points:

Few wear and tear scratches can only be expected of car of this age and used daily.

A few spares will come with the car, some plastic interior bits, pressed show plates.

Spare wheel and tools all there.

No expense has been spared with this car, everything that’s needs to be fixed has been fixed with genuine parts . Serviced history all up to date. Got a folder full of receipts mots, tax discs, also hand book with everything in it, all keys and plastic copy key.

Not interested in buying...but some advice on the price.

Its been a while since a 6n fetched £3000.

I'd say £2000 is more on the money.

I realise its probably worth ALOT more to you but at the end of the day it is just a very clean 6n slammed on Rotas

Ok thats your point of view, i have seen my friends go for 3,000 and more, well a lot more has gone into it than just a clean 6n on rotas, but i will listen to offers.

Would anyone best interested if i dropped the price ??
