Was about to say the same, more sympathy needs to be directed towards the Norwegians rather than some bint and her self inflicted death.

No sympathy whatsoever....if her family really cared then they would have stepped in and helped her but obviously not....personally i couldnt stand her music so I'm feeling no loss.

She had talent but her songs were just awful I thought.

The only reason she was so popular was because of the drug habbit, but she was no Charlie Sheen and her body obviously wasn't made to take it.

I'm a firm believer that some people could take drugs from their teenage years and live to a ripe old age not being effected much, and some just can't take it at all.

She clearly just couldn't handle the drugs she was throwing into her body and so it was bound to kill her sometime. But even I was slightly shocked it happened at just 27.

I read a thing on the guardian website that had an interview from her mum a couple years back. Even she said she knew the drugs would kill her and she had already come to terms with the fact.

Quite an odd thing to read but I bet the family is still extremely devastated at their loss.

Not at all surprised, it's been coming for a while now. Also x2 on this being more important than the situation in Norway for some reason.

And in regards to the family helping. Theres only so much you can do, i dare say they did whatever they could to help. Sometimes its just not enough.
