Thought about doing that today but do think the door handels and the centre consol will look a little weird gloss black

How do you do this? I tried and it seemed like I would have to pull apart my handbrake to get it out.

centre consols not attached to the handbrake! Remove gear knob (unscrew) and gaitor (pulls off) then undo the 2 screws that hold the centre consol underneath the dashboard, 5 minute job

I know it's not attached, I just tried to pull it out and it got caught under the handbrake.

undo the 2 screws on the dash and it will come out at a slight angle

also i super glues the gatior the the carpet as it moves around when changing gears

Yeah it looks much better, might open the space up a bit to place a speaker or two.

Mk3 doorcards on a mk2 polo remould them to fit

it seems we've got quite a few polos around northampton!! Always good to know. Depending on the colour of you are car you could remove and dye the roof lining black and do the A + B pillars black aswell... Always looks good in my opinoin

ye boy i dont my roof lining and plastics as you know gaz . u know tony can hook up this for you bud . you need chrome interior door handles and to make the dash light up red or a differant colour , oh and a 6n2 steering wheel . Dave

nice seats, recovered door cards and roof headlining, nice steering wheel, different floor mats or no floor matts at all, dvd screen, flocked dash.

theres allot of stuff that can be done, it just depends how much you can afford/want/dare to do.

I'm running:

Alfa seats front and back

retrimmed red leather door cards

home done retrimmed head lining and pillars

'Polo' logo'd floor matts

Mk3 Golf convertible black sun visors

Mk3 Golf grab handles sprayed matte black

and a few other things that I've probably forgot.

rob did you have to change runners for alfa seats? and how bad was backs to fit?

I've added an arm rest in my 6n2, makes the drive that much more relaxing
