Mk3 polo Exhaust Pictures?

Featured Replies

Having a custom exhaust made tomorrow morning, and was wondering if people could post pictures of theirs up?

Gives me an idea of what might look best.

Mines a full straight through to rc40 backbox which has a 2 inch rolled tip and points upwards :)

Straight cut pipe is a must on a mk3. Inward or outward rolled just doesn't look right.

Cheers

 I actually didn't mean it as a burn as i didn't see yours was a rolled tip, outward rolled looking 10x better than inwards rolled. Not that it looks bad but i just think straight cut pipe gives a more period look to the exhaust. In fact yours looks good but i'm a big fan of the upswept exhausts on cool old cars. I know Jay likes things to look standard fresh so i think a straight, straight cut single pipe will look the best on his car. It's all preference at the end of the day and what works on one car does not always work on another.

Ha its fine mate i get what you mean, at the end of the day its personal preference, my exhaust fits pretty badly if you were to see it as the previous owner just bodged it on but the sound it makes overdoes that :)

fitter the back box sideways then fed a pip out each side... like the MR2

normally, i'm against twin pipes

but that on the saloon suits it well!

At the OP. a nice outward rolled 2.5-3" tip stainless custom jobbie will do you well jay :)
