PLS Hockenheims 6x13 + 7.5x13 staggered, £575

Featured Replies

Right, not had these long and after getting a set of custom adapters made, I smashed my sump open and decided that 13s aren't going to work on my mk1. So I'm getting rid to get 15s

So, onto the wheels. Genuine 3 piece splits, 6 inch wide on the front, 7.5 inches wide on the back. Unfortunately I'm unsure of the et, was told that they were around 35 all round, but the fronts and rears have the same amount of poke, despite the rears being wider, so unable to confirm. Adapters are about two months old, one of these months my car has spent off the road. Made of Ali, 15mm on the front, helicoiled threads, 35mm on the rear, these didn't need to be helicoiled. Brand new adapter bolts all round. the adapters were a work of art when I got them through, and kind of wish they were more on show  they were made by g25 (iirc) engineering who advertise on here, greenygti can also confirm for anyone interested that he made the adapters and answer any doubts etc. (hope he doesn't mind )

The wheels themselves are in I'd say, reasonable condition. Marks on all dishes, little dents and stone chips, only noticeable up close. They polish up really well though. I think there is a few little bits of Curbing, but looks like they have had a bit of a rub down so they are not sharp. Will get pictures of any marks. The rear barrel of one of the wheels has a flat spot, but it balanced up with minimal weights and pretty sure it's one of the rears, but will check.

The centres of the wheels are a dull polish which is a nice contrast with the mirror dishes, but with minimal polishing (about 15 minutes a wheel) you can get quite a good reflection if wanted. Could do this quickly for the new owner if wanted. No centercaps, but personally I prefer without. Could possibly get some custom made to the new owners spec as i work next to a metal shop that could probably do me a deal. So spikes etc should be possible.

Onto the tyres, front tyres are 165/55/13 nankangs, loads of tread, approx 5-6mm, rears are also 165/55/13s, can't remember the make, but were brand new under 1000 miles ago.

So all in all, really presentable wheels in perfectly usable condition, but don't expect show condition wheels. Sit pretty much perfect on my mk1, and for any interested parties I could probably get them trial fitted to other cars for genuine interest. Wheels are very east to keep on top of cleaning, as far as brake dust goes, as the gaps in the wheels are quite small. The brake clearance on these also looks very good, maybe someone can confirm, but I'm pretty sure they are French racing wheels, so the clearance should be pretty good.

Looking for £650, which after brand new tyres and brand new custom adapters etc, I'm taking a considerable loss. no pxs anymore, i have found the wheels i want so just need these shifted now

Can post for £20 too, or collection from po8. Sorry for the massive post, but everyone likes information. Apologise for the rubbish pictures get some more when I remember to bring my camera home from work ^_^

everyone loves fitment, this is without any camber, archwork etc. too, just just bolt on and stance  fronts:

rears:

general shot, i didnt have time to clean them yet they still look clean:

and a quick shot of how they look on the car, i smashed my sump open, hence the ramp and dodgy stance.

and a link to more pictures, pictures of a few bad bits etc: clicky

in a few photos two tyres look flat, they're not, its just how its jacked up, all wheels have held pressure fine and i had the bolts tightened to the correct torque a few weeks ago too.

any questions, dont hesitate to ask

right, i copied this straight over from edition, so apologies for any random bits from different posts.

What stud pattern are they if you needed to get adapters?

Sick wheels btw, bargain too ;)

Knew id forget something, They're 4x95.25, really strange so I don't know what they were off. And unfortunately the stud pattern was just too much for wobble bolts. Cheers man, would love to keep them but sumps aren't strong. Haha

Also, I won't be splitting from the adapters as I won't have a use for them

Right, for today ONLY, coz I'm really excited and impatient about getting my new wheels, dropping to £600. Again, just for today, 2moro they'll go back up to £650.

Mods, don't take this as a bump

Where can you get the adaptors to make them fit a mk3

Where can you get the adaptors to make them fit a mk3

They are included in the sale of the wheels.

Cheers kerrly :)

Yep adapters are included in the sale to fit the wheels to 4x100 hubs. Adapters are only a month or two old and have only been run for about a month before I took my car off the road last month. All adapter bolts are brand new too, so everything you need to fit here!
