After having a major idleing issue and the MK3 running like a pile of s***, all seemed to go well, the Sat Nav took me about 30 miles out of my way, but was an awesome trip down

Back:

Ran smooth as anything, better than its ever gone before actually. :)

My car ran smoothly both ways, nice and comfy in my recaros, air con on, drink in cupholder. Shame the relative luxury combined with a 1.8t meant that i used £65 worth of fuel over 300 miles, stupid mk4 golf barge.

I decided to leave at a different time to the rest of the people from down my way and went a rediculous route, got home in good time though.

like a idiot on the way there I tried to fix the non working radio by fiddling with the wires on the back of the fuse box and managed to pull the wire for the fuel pump out. Spent ten mins on the hard shoulder with Kiz keeping an eye out for sleeping polish lorry drivers coming down the hard shoulder

Trip home was fine

Loads of traffic and long :/ good weekend tho

Lovely and smooth on the way down, but the lack of sleep and stupidly upright bucket seats made the journey home painfully long

Gearbox died on way home thankfully not far from home, thank god it was not on the motorway!

Drive there was average, the southern convoy was even shitter than last year.

Way back I was in a daze the whole time, the gorgeous weather coupled with lack of sleep made me pretty dozy lol. Corrado was pretty good on fuel though, only used £40 and did about 300 miles.

Smooth, just abit toasty in the mark3 on the way back

aircon stopped working on way back made things quite sticky on the seats.

On the way home, open roads, and lots of nice retro American and British Leyland cars to look at, plus playing silly buggers with a Triumph :)

drive down was good, drive back was sweet till someone tried to cut into my lane realised i was ther an beeped an threated me an thn told me to pull over sayn was my fault so i waved some nice gestures an let the 206 smoke them.

Fine going down, then got yelled at by some idiot on the way back - doms driving was the problem Coupled with the fact i was busting for a wee for about half an hour and there was no services made the way there a lot more enjoyable
