How was your drive there and back?

Featured Replies

There was fine.

Coming home I had issues in which I had to pull over cause sun burn kicked in...serious headache and felt very lethargic. Fag and a drink later, I was fine to go.

not from peteborough thats just where we left the a1 lol live another hour and abit up toward grimsby

I missed the turning left in the campsite and had to go round that whoooole one way system.. Made the journey seem like hours!

Nah it was a good journey but only pootled up from Bedford so not a bad ride up!

Oh one of the onsite staff had a go for driving so slow and 'holding up the other cars'...?

Errr first of all, 5mph speed limit I believe? Second of all, I was going slow because of the speed hump, if you don't want people to go so slow for them then remove them wtf? Thirdly I paid to get in, I am therefore technically a customer so show some bloody respect! Sorry that annoyed me!

Drive there was interesting. was gonna pootle along at 55/60 until i got bored 10mins into the journey by being overtaken by knobheads in work vans so the ownage stick came out to play  for the first time it was a struggle to get over the speedhumps and the bridge on the slant but thats the joys of being low!

The ride home was ok. was pretty late sat night so managed to keep my foot down and piss off afew more expensive cars :)

Considering I'm the one who travelled the furthest distance to and from the show all was well. But then again I was driving a BMW and not a Polo.

Only had one mishap and that was on the M6 Toll on the way down. Was being a bit naughty and hit 130mph...and noticed the mag mount aerial for the CB radio had fallen off, so had to stop and re-attach that.

If nothing else at least you know alcohol and drugs lose you 0.2HP.

Is that per spliff/pint?
